Accessibility of the Historical Museum of the City of Leipzig
The Historical Museum of the City of Leipzig recognises the diversity of our general public's abilities and needs. As a place of education, encounter and leisure, we provide largely barrier-free access to our buildings and services.
Unfortunately, we are not able to realise this claim in every case. For constructional reasons and for urban heritage conservation, we are not allowed to implement accessibility for users of wheelchairs in the Arabian Coffee Tree Museum, as well as in Schiller House.
The following services are available:
- Guided Tours and tactile offers for blind and partially sighted people
- Easy-to-read exhibition guides (only available in German)
- Audio-guides for adults in English and French
- Guided tours for disabled children and adults
You find information on our accessibility services and offers by scrolling down this web page.
Your suggestions, indications and criticism are unconditionally welcome. If you have questions or feedback regarding the accessibility of this homepage or any particular webpage of this museum, please contact us.
