Opening: November 22, 2016, 6pm

Duckburg is everywhere – and in Leipzig as well, which now presents a highly entertaining, wittily amusing and at the same time artistically ambitious show.
History of mankind and all its eras are contemplated with regard to the parallel universe of ducks. Ranging from the Stone Age up to the moon landing, the exhibits display with a wink the global and cultural history of duck society.
Paintings of renowned artists such as Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, the world-famous bust of Nefertiti or a statue of Napoleon show the features of Donald Duck characters. And since it includes Martin Luther, Richard Wagner, Johann Sebastian Bach or Johann Wolfgang Goethe as well, the gallery of ducks is not missing the great names of Leipzig's history either. Finally, the diverting and enjoyable texts initiate visitors in the unfamiliar world of duck culture, which does not even stop at Leipzig's Wave-Gotik-Treffen.
